Born and raised in Northeast Georgia, I will always have an affinity for milkshake-thick sweet tea and honey-glazed, stick-o-butter biscuits. But as a New Yorker, it's pretty hard to beat a fresh, hot Everything Bagel and Lox.
Behind my philosophies of work as a producer and actor are two fundamental authors, JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis. In a world of communal diaspora, I find their work to be a necessary reminder of our linked humanity. From this vantage point come things like my work ethic, my values, loyalty, and interest in those with whom I work.
I am U.S-based, and my work as a producer spans narrative and concert film, branded content, live events and broadcast - specializing in hands-on collaboration, complex budgets, crew communication, and story development/refinement. As an actor, I find myself attracted to the stories of disguised or circuitous journeys toward what is not one’s loudest hope, but rather one’s deepest. It may be driven by fear, revenge, hurt, misguided aspirations - but when seen to its end exposes that the scars of the character are now hope for those around him.
“Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art... It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival." - Lewis.
